Privacy Policy

Last updated 20 August 2026 · Cull (com.cull.gallery.photosorter.photo.organizer.pico.pickerry) · Published by Bract Studio

Cull reads your photos so you can sort them, and that is as far as they go. Your photos are never uploaded, never copied off your phone, and never seen by us.

Your photos

Your photos never leave your device. Cull reads your gallery only to show you photos to sort, and works on them in place on your phone. It does not upload them, back them up, or send them anywhere — there is no server for them to go to.

Photo files are opened for display and comparison while the app is running. Finding duplicates and blurry shots happens entirely on your phone. Nothing about your photos — not the images, not their contents, not their location data — is transmitted.

What we collect

Nothing.

We do not operate a server that receives your information. There is no Bract Studio account, no cloud sync, and no database anywhere holding your data.

Permissions, and what each one is for

Cull does not request all-files access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). It can only ever see your photos and videos, never the rest of your files.

Deleting is permanent

Archiving a photo in Cull hides it from your sorting queue but keeps the file. Deleting hands the file to Android, and Android shows its own confirmation dialog and performs the deletion — Cull cannot delete anything silently. Depending on your device and gallery app the file may go to a system trash for a period, after which it is gone. Bract Studio holds no copy and cannot recover a deleted photo for you.

Internet access

Cull declares Android's internet permission, so we should say plainly what it is for. It is used to open links you tap yourself — the studio website, the Play Store listing and this privacy policy — by Google Play Billing to process a purchase, and by Google Play for app updates.

The app does not contact any Bract Studio server, because there isn't one. Nothing about how you use Cull is reported to us.

Purchases

Cull offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full version. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or receive your card number, billing address or any other payment detail — Google confirms the purchase to the app and nothing more. Refunds and payment queries are handled by Google Play under its own terms and privacy policy.

Children

Cull is not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone — including children under 13, or the equivalent age in your country. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to delete on request.

Data sharing and sale

We share nothing, because we hold nothing. We have never sold user data and have no mechanism to do so.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. Bract Studio holds no personal data about Cull users, so there is nothing for us to return or erase.

Everything Cull touches lives on your own device and is under your control: revoke any permission in Android Settings, or uninstall the app to remove it all at once.

Google Play compliance

Cull complies with Google Play's Limited Use requirements. Data the app accesses on your device is used solely to provide features that are visible to you in the app, is processed locally on the device, is never transferred to any server, and is never used for advertising, profiling or credit assessment. It is never sold.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above changes with it. We recommend reviewing this page from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted here.
